CrossFit Raeda

By far the most welcoming, friendly and encouraging exercise/training environment I have been in. Professional and knowledgeable coaches who are able to tailor workouts to any ability from complete beginners (like me) to the awe-inspiring long termers. If you're on the fence about giving it a go, just do it. It's highly unlikely you'll regret it.

I have been a member of Raeda for two years. My daughter has been attending the kids classes for over a year. The community is what makes the gym feel like home to both of us. Each class has its own energy, the coaches have a great way of making you believe in yourself and the social events are something you won’t get with your average gym! This is the gym for you if you are nervous about starting your gym journey but also amazing for the seasoned athletes…. The cheer squad will keep you coming back for more.

I’ve been a member of CrossFit Raeda for the past two years and it has become much more than just a place to train. From the start I felt welcomed and encouraged by the coaches and the members. The atmosphere is supportive and the sense of community is amazing. For me, this gym is my happy place where I can clear my mind, challenge myself, and leave feeling better every time. A real gem nestled between Epping and Harlow. When finding a gym, it can be daunting and hard work to find “the one” whether it’s location, price, culture or set up; it’s hard to find one that ticks all the boxes. However, from the first message enquiring about the gym to the welcome hug as soon as you walk through the door, it is like joining a community of friends who you’ve never met. People from all walks of life welcome you in and you soon become engulfed in the moment and have the urge to come back for more. The prices are very reasonable and the times sporadic over the day, allowing for commuters to squeeze in sessions before and after work. Lee and Annie are both incredibly kind and have the patience of a saint. The atmosphere and attitude of all within the gym is amazing and helps maintain that buzz from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave.

Love this gym - I’ve been going for 4 years and am fitter and stronger than I’ve ever been. Fantastic coaches who are invested in our progress. The people keep me showing up!

I joined Raeda 7 or 8 years ago but stopped after having kids. I rejoined a year ago and have loved being back. There are so many great aspects to this gym. Generally, not having to work out my own programming at a gym is great. I turn up and am told what to do. But beyond that, there is a great community feel to the gym. Everyone is accepted and made to feel welcome. There are plenty of social events and fun competitions. You can get involved as much or as little as you want. I have also just started the parent and child sessions. It has been great training with my 7 and 9 year old. Hopefully setting them up for lives of activity and fitness.

I have been a member here for over two years now and that is the longest I have ever stuck to any gym. Everyone is really friendly and the classes cater for all abilities. I go just to move my body and keep my strength up but there are many top athletes here as well. The coaches are brilliant, very knowledgeable and they know what to do if you need to scale due to injury or ability. My son also does to cross fit teens and junior weightlifting classes here and he loves it. Highly recommend to anyone at any age and any fitness level.

CrossFit Raeda is like my 2nd home. I recently joined back, and been a member for just over a year now! The coaches are brilliant, catering for all different abilities. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it really is a great social environment. Can't wait to get my 10 year anniversary shirt! 😝👈🏻 x
